Founded in 1970 as the direct outcome of a previous business dating back to the 40S, MONFER S.p.A stands as a leading company in the field of grain on the national as well as on the international market. It has progressively grown and become a leader in Europe: it has built and purchased land and harbour silos for the storage and distribution of the commodities in the areas of major consumption, has acquired an outstanding number of wagons and containers for grain international transport, has created a similar company in France to compete better on the european market. We now own 7 silos: 5 are located in the main trading areas in the north of Italy and 2 at the ports of La Spezia and Savona.
